About Kim

Kim grew up in Moose Jaw and spent a year as an exchange student in Finland before moving to Saskatoon to attend the University of Saskatchewan. She graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law and articled with W Law LLP. After several years at W Law, she took in-house legal counsel positions with national accounting firm MNP followed by global mining company BHP before moving back to private practice with Procido LLP. She currently practices corporate commercial, employment, mining and renewable energy law.

Kim’s volunteer endeavors include several years as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saskatoon before shifting to a position on the Board of Directors. She spent 6 years on the Board of Directors for Nuit Blanche Saskatoon, with 4 of those years as Chair of the Board. Her tenure as Chair oversaw the organization double its revenues and its programming, culminating with the largest and most highly attended festival to-date. She has been a board member of the Bridge City Bicycle Co-op and now volunteers on the Finance and Risk Committee. Recently, she became the first female President of the Saskatchewan Drag Racing Association.

Kim lives in Montgomery with her husband Paul and their two cats, Ivy and Ted.
